Sonimeter is a one-person project. I read every email.

Sonimeter shows a calibration state and uncertainty next to every reading. A freshly installed app on an uncalibrated device is "Provisional ±4 dB." After calibrating against a reference, accuracy improves to ±1–2 dB depending on your device. See the Guide tab in the app for details.
The calibration constant K is a factory seed based on your device model. Until you calibrate it yourself (Settings → Calibration), Sonimeter honestly labels it as provisional.
Sonimeter is not a certified instrument. The PDF report includes device info, calibration source, and uncertainty so that the reader can judge credibility, but it does not replace a Class 1 or Class 2 meter.
Sonimeter measures sound levels from the microphone in real time. It does not record audio unless you explicitly tap "Record a Clip." No audio ever leaves your device.
Go to Settings → Restore purchase. If that doesn't work, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to purchase. If the problem persists, email me.
